Just in time for the holidays, Sony is temporarily cutting the price of the PlayStation 4 Pro. Starting on Sunday, December 10, Sony is dropping the price of all PS4 Pro systems--including the bundles--by $50. This means the standard 1 TB PS4 Pro will be available for only $350 instead of $400, while the Destiny 2 and Star Wars: Battlefront II bundles will go for $400 instead of $450. These offers end on December 16.

Additionally, PlayStation VR bundles are discounted significantly. The Gran Turismo Sport bundle is down to $200 (from $300), the Doom VFR bundle drops to $300 (from $400), and the Skyrim VR bundle is going down to $350 (from $450). These offers will be available December 10-24, so you have more time to get involved. Go to the PlayStation Blog to see a full rundown of the deals and specifics on the bundles.

It will be interesting to see if Microsoft follows suit and cuts the price of the Xbox One or the Xbox One X for the holidays. Microsoft has in the past followed Sony's move when it comes to temporary price cuts. During the all-important holiday shopping season, sticker price is especially important, so we may also see an Xbox price cut.

In other PS4 news, December's free PlayStation Plus titles are now available. These include PS4 titles such as Darksiders II: Deathinitive Edition, Kung Fu Panda: Showdown of the Legendary Legends, and the PlayStation VR game Until Dawn: Rush of Blood.
